Step 3: When the water boils, switch off, unplug it, and leave it alone for 20 minutes.
Step 4: If the limescale hasn’t come off on its own, gently scrape the kettle’s interior with a soft brush.
Step 5: Rinse the kettle thoroughly 2 or 3 times until it is squeaky clean.
Step 6: Keep the kettle dry for subsequent uses.
Clean Glass Electric Kettle With Lemon
Lemon juice is a great way to clean a kettle. The acid in the juice will break down the stains, and the natural oils will make the kettle shine. Using lemon juice to clean a glass kettle is gentle and eco-friendly.
Step 1: Cut a lemon in half and remove the pips, then squeeze the juice into a bowl.
Step 2: Add enough water into the lemon juice to fill your kettle halfway.
Step 3: Then pour the lemon and water mix into the kettle to boil. After the boil, unplug, and let it sit until it’s completely cool.
Step 4: After that, using a soft sponge, gently clean the interior of your kettle.
Step 5: Pour out the lemon mix from the kettle, then fill in clean water. Wash the kettle inside and pour out water from the kettle. Continue this 2-3 times.

Cleaning your glass kettle with baking soda is a great way to keep it shiny and clean. It is a safe and natural way to clean. It will also help remove any stains or smells.
Step 1: Mix one tablespoon of baking soda for every liter of water in a jug or bowl.
Step 2: Mix baking soda properly and pour water to fill half of the kettle to boil.
Step 3: After boiling, unplug from the power supply and allow the solution to soak for 20 minutes.
Step 4: After 20 minutes, dump the solution in the sink and wash the kettle with clean water.
How to Clean Glass Kettle; Non-Electric?
If you have a glass kettle that is not electric, you may have difficulty cleaning it. To clean an electric glass kettle, following the ways I’ve discussed below. You will need vinegar, dish liquid, hot water, and a soft brush to follow the procedures.
Step 1: Fill the kettle halfway with water and 1/2 cup of vinegar.
Step 2: Whirl the solution in the sink around the kettle a few times. Allow the solution to soak for one hour. Then drain out the solution.
Step 3: Then again, fill the kettle with 3/4 hot water and pour the dishwashing liquid into the water.
Step 4: Clean the kettle with a soft brush inside. Rinse the kettle with water and dry it thoroughly for then use.
How to Clean Outside of a Glass Kettle?
The key to cleaning outside of a glass kettle is not to use soap, which can leave a residue. It is best to use a damp cloth and wipe the kettle clean. Some people use vinegar. Mix vinegar into the water in a 1:1 ratio. Simply moisten the paper towel into the vinegar solution and rub it outside the kettle. Now, you will get your kettle shiny outside.
A few drops of dish liquid are needed to clean the outside of your glass kettle. With a paper towel sprayed with a little bit of water, you’ll be able to clean it thoroughly.
